“Kaleb and I have been together for 6 years. I moved to a new school and town my senior year of high school and knew no one. In theatre class, we had to have a partner for a duet scene, Kaleb’s friends were gone that day and since I didn’t know anyone, we ended up being partners. After our theatre duet, we officially started dating March 7, 2013. We’ve continued to date through college, my graduation, and his decision to enlist in the Marine Corp. On July 7, 2018, Kaleb proposed to me back at our high school on the same theatre stage I asked him to be my duet partner.”
